Friday, the 13th… Nah, j/k, its only Friday, the 8th.

Goooood morning! Well, Day 2 of C25K is in the books. Hitting up Day 3 to finish week 1 tonight. Last night, the kids had youth yoga class, so I made the most of being “stuck” at the gym for a few hours. Did my running, as C25K Day 2 instructed, then walked a little longer on the treadmill, worked the stepper, bicycle and then did some of the weight machines.

I LOVE the weight machines, but my fave one that works my biggest problem area, kinda makes me feel like a pervy porn star. It’s the one you sit in and you either use your outer thighs to push the weights out or your inner thighs to push them in. I tried to google for a pic, but apparently I am not describing it good enough. Either that or my gym is secretly an incognito pervy sexual weight machine shop… Anyhow, its like a big machine that works similarly to the Thighmaster for the inner leg exercise. Oh, good ol’ Jane Fonda. Isn’t it about time for her to break out with a new fitness tool or video? 🙂

I was thinking about doing the “tweet what you eat” for a day, just to see how it worked, but I found that you are to log on to your twitter through their site and I’m weary about doing that. Maybe I’ll just actually tweet what I eat one day. I’m a pretty healthy eater for the most part and I do keep track of what I eat privately on my cell phone. Okay, I just twisted my own arm and decided to do it afterall. Check me out, if you’re a twitter-er, I’m @RunningManda

I am going to wrap this up & get to work. I AM thinking about trying out a beer tonight. Will just be the hubbs & I grilling out later and we have to get up early for baseball tomorrow, so it’s a good night to try out a beverage and see if the ciggy cravings hit or not. Would prefer to try it out before I fully hang out with my friends again, to see where I’m at, willpower wise. Plus, I really want to get to a point where when I do drink, its in moderation. I love to let loose and get crazy, but it was to the point that I got that way EVERY time I drank, which was multiple times a week. I’d prefer to only have a few wild crazy nights a year and be able to moderately have A glass of wine with dinner, instead of a bottle – or A beer or two while grilling out, instead of a case. I think I can. No, I KNOW I can. I just need to ease into it.

Cheesy phrase of the moment, which is perfect to state right now: You can do anything you SET your mind to.

Side note: I’m going to try to log on tonight and set this site up properly with a design, etc.. I was just excited when I thought about the concept yesterday and set it all up via my phone, which isn’t the best, or easiest, to set up preferences. But, customizing this site, and customizing it soon, is on my radar. 🙂
